Captain Hunter
Hi, I'm Captain Hunter. I've spent pretty much my entire life on the water. I grew up on the west coast working as a deckhand on sportfishing passenger boats with my family since I was nine years old fishing for everything from calico bass to white seabass to bluefin tuna and everything in between. I eventually captained those boats obtaining my USCG 100 Ton Master License when I was 18 years old. Since acquiring my License, I became a full-time operator on the "Poseidon" 75ftx24ft and ''Constitution" 85x25ft out of H&M Landing in San Diego. In 2018 I decided to move to Texas to start my own guide service. I am proud to call the beautiful Hill Country Texas my home and run trips year-round On Lake Buchanan and in Port O'Connor at the coast. I am a Full Time Guide and fishing is the only job that I do and I couldn't see myself doing anything else! The knowledge I have acquired from being well versed in different fisheries all over the world gives me a keen advantage of trying new and different techniques that can make or break a fishing trip. The Boat
Come aboard the custom 2024 Henriksen 28ft Catamaran Skiff equipped with the latest fish finder equipment consisting of Humminbird Helix graphs, Minnkota Terrova Trolling Motor with Spot-Lock, Humminbird Mega Live Imaging sonar, Dual Minnkota Raptor Shallow Water Anchors, and Xtreme Live Shad Tanks. The boat comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, earning its title as the largest and most fully equipped charter boat in Austin, Texas. Designed to handle large groups with ease, it’s the perfect choice for corporate outings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, or memorable family adventures.

The Gear
Shad Tank
We carry a custom made shad tank by Xtreme Bait Tanks on the boat. We can keep the very difficult to keep alive threadfin and gizzard shad in this tank with ease. Our day starts early at 3:00am cast netting bait for your trip. Having lively shad is critical to our success at different times of the year.
Mega Live Imaging
Mega Live forward facing sonar allows you to view fish, structure, and your bait or lure in REAL TIME. Crazy right? The ability to see fish underneath the boat and watch them react to your live bait or lure is game changing. We put a lot more fish on the boat because of this new sonar.
